Reiki

Reiki is a spiritual healing art that channels positive energy into the body. Reiki deals with the seven chakras or energy centers, to balance each chakra so that the energy can flow and spin freely. During the session the practitioner will work with or without hands-on, as preferred by the client. The client can experience relaxation and other positive sensations such as heat, colors, and/or tingling.

It requires using a sterile acupuncture needle that is inserted through the skin into muscles, tendons, ligaments, and/or close to nerves. It is not acupuncture; it is based on a modern scientific study of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. This treatment technique provides an environment that enhances the body's ability to heal, which ultimately reduces pain.
